Create Identity

Ghostline uses Ghostline IDs - cryptographic identities with no phone numbers or emails required.

Steps:

  • Install the app
  • Tap “Create Identity”
  • Verify device security
  • Register a passkey (TouchID/FaceID or FIDO2 security key)
  • Optional: Add a nickname or alias

Done - 'your Ghostline ID is live'

What we store:

  • Nothing personally identifiable
  • No phone numbers
  • No emails (unless added voluntarily for recovery)

After creating your identity:

  1. Set up your MPC wallet
  2. Configure browser mode
  3. Set up backups

  • Store your recovery in a secure location
  • Enable two-factor authentication where available
